How an Easy Grader works

An Easy Grader converts a paper's number of correct answers into a percentage and letter grade. Because every paper in the stack uses the same total number of questions, the teacher only needs to change the wrong-answer count.

Why this is different from a Test Grade Calculator

The Test Grade Calculator answers the question “What is this one test score?” Easy Grader is a repetitive classroom workflow: set the test size once, move the wrong-answer counter, and optionally print the complete chart.

Custom scales are next. The current release uses the site's standard reference scale. A future classroom release can add saved custom cutoffs for a school or course.

How is the score calculated from wrong answers?

Correct answers = total questions minus wrong answers. Percentage = correct answers divided by total questions, multiplied by 100. The letter grade is then matched against the reference grading scale.
