General information
GraderCalculator provides general educational calculators, guides, and explanations related to grading and grade calculation. The tools are not official gradebooks and do not know the specific grading policies of any particular school, instructor, or institution.
Verify your inputs
Before relying on any result, check your syllabus, assignment weights, final-exam rules, extra-credit policy, and grading scale. A calculator can only be as accurate as the numbers and method you give it; it cannot see policies that are not entered, such as dropped lowest scores or category minimums your instructor applies.
No guarantee of a particular academic outcome
A calculated score, projected grade, or required-final-score result does not guarantee a course grade, eligibility decision, admission outcome, scholarship result, or any other institutional outcome. These are estimates based on the formulas explained in our guides, applied to the numbers you supply.
Not affiliated with any school or platform
GraderCalculator is an independent project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any school, university, learning management system (including Canvas, Blackboard, Schoology, or Brightspace), or testing organization mentioned on this site. Any such names are used only for descriptive or comparative purposes.
Accuracy of guides
We check the formulas and worked examples in our guides for mathematical accuracy. Grading scales, GPA conversions, and institutional policies referenced as general examples can vary between schools and change over time; treat them as a starting reference, not your school's authoritative policy.
